Advertising & Marketing assessment: Learner response

1.) Mark out of 15 for Media Language: 10/15 Estimated A Level Coursework grade: B WWW: Lea, this is a good piece of production. You demonstrate good application of knowledge and understanding of media language through your effective photography, colour scheme and cover lines which demonstrate a combination of elements to communicate clear meanings throughout the product. What I most enjoy is the choice of magazine you have tried to recreate (very original!) The cover lines you have written are also in-line with original cover lines used by National Geographic so well done on completing your planning and research. EBI: Your evaluative comments are honest and reflective about the font choice and there’s not much you can really do to get the exact font match but well done for getting it as close as possible. I would say the masthead could have been slightly larger to then contrast the other cover lines. The other thing I would suggest is perhaps making the other cover lines the same size...

Magazines: GQ - Audience & Industry

  GQ - Audience & Industries blog tasks Audience 1.) The media kit describes GQ as a flagship of men's fashion and style in Britain, also claiming being progressive and cutting edge. 2.) It suggests that masculinity is evolving and that men's fashion has moved to the centre of the global pop-culture conversation, "GQ's authority has never been broader or stronger". 3.) The magazine media kit claims to spend £7.7k annually on fashion which implies that its audience is also able to spend the same amount of money, along with its £1.2k average annual spending on beauty which just continues to emphasis the point made previously.  4.) The special editions that GQ run suggest that its audience is open to changes instead of a tight run programming or schedule or type of media released. 5.) The video and social series section suggests that magazine audiences are still changing since media forms like magazines are evolving from traditional like paper press to more digit...
