Reading an image

RBX 50 cent advert: Technical: There is harsh light on the persons face, highlighting the furrowed eyebrows and tense face, the shots also being a close up one aids to the tense and frustrated look on the persons face. The advert is in monochrome colours which adds to the intensity. There are two pictures in the advert placed as a collage, this could perhaps represent a duel personality or a past/present version of himself. Written/Verbal code: In the class text on the right hand side of the advert the "o"'s are filled, this may symbolise 50 cent's past since he had been previously shot before. There is also a repetition of the slogan "I am" which conveys a reflection of his past and how her has accepted it and it is a part of him. It is slightly unclear to what is being advertised.  Symbolic/non-verbal: The facial expressions he wear are serious and tense, this could link to his identity. English (by Tarun Thind): PART 1: 1.) Throughout the entire movie the two characters are shown to be young delinquent teenagers who do little but cause trouble. However once you finish the film you find out that both the boys are deaf, so the "fights" that they had gotten into was due to them not being able to hear what others had to say and they took their hostile and angry actions as threats. You also are able to see that the two boys have a generous and somewhat caring personas, they steal bananas and give them to a homeless man who they had terrorised previously. So it't not the most charitable thing in the world but its the most generous things the boys are show doing in the movie.  2.) At the end of the film the two characters and revealed to be deaf. My media consumption

 Newspapers: 1.) I'll usually read whatever newspaper has been left on a bus or train seat.  2.) I usually flip to the part with the word cross of the part of the newspaper that's being advertised on the front page.  3.) I never read the spots section, I've never found an interest in it.  4.) I tend to read the stories about something new that's been discovered or the part of the paper where all the shocking things are written like car crashes and stuff of that kind.  5.) No 6.) I sometimes click on random articles that have come up on my recommended page, its not usually the same company though. I just click on whatever seems interesting when I've got nothing to do.  Magazines: 1.) I like to read the advertisement section or the part where you learn to do new things since I find it interesting.  2.) I never read the "Celebrity gossip" part since I can never remember any of their names.  Television: 1.) Very little, if I do it's for a movie so abo...

Media Quiz - first 10 questions

 1.) I chose A-level since I enjoyed literature and the act of analysing different texts. I assumed that media would be the same thing only with different kinds of media like movies and magazines.  2.) I did not take media as a GCSE and I did attend Greenford high school last year.  3.)  4.) B or above 5.) After A-levels id like to continue to peruse in product design. 6.) I think the biggest media story of 2025 was the superman movie since it had a lot of good reviews and a lot of watchers. 7.) The last film I watched was the Phantom of the opera sequel "love never dies" it wasn't very good but I still sat through it.  9.) My favourite TV series is Attack on Titan.  10.) I spend about 6-7 hours a day on my phone. I think thats a bit too high.
